The Third Calendar, Son of a King
Aqib, the son of a King was exploring the seas when he sailed near an island that magnetically attracts the iron of ships until they fall apart in the sea. When Aqib's ship sank, he swam to shore and found a dome bearing the figure of a man on horseback. He was approached by a group of men all blind in their right eye. They took him to their castle where they lived in misery. Aqib asked to know their story, so they sent him to a distant palace filled with 40 beautiful princesses. They offered the entire palace to him except the room with the forbidden Golden Door. Eventually, Aqib's curiosity overcame him and he opened it uncovering a with a black horse. He took the horse outside for a ride and it suddenly spread its wings and flew into the sky. The horse brought him to a castle before violently shaking him to the ground, knocking out his right eye. The familiar group of men approached him and he finally understood their story.

Prince Ahmad and The Fairy Pari Banou
Prince Ahmed secretly married a female genie named Pari Banou who lived in a majestic underground palace. He paid frequent visits to his home kingdom but never revealed his marriage to the Sultan. Eventually, the Sultan's advisors began to spread rumors of the source of Prince Ahmed's wealth, prompting the Sultan to send a black magician to investigate. She deceived Prince Ahmed into telling her of his wife and returned to the Sultan with this information. Knowing the truth, the Sultan requested that Prince Sultan have Pari Banou send him a magic tent to which she obliged. Delighted and jealous of Prince Ahmed's powerful wife, the Sultan requested magic water from the Fountain of Lions and she once again gladly complied. Then the Sultan requested Pari Banou send him a short, obedient yet extremely strong man who was capable of killing anyone. This perfectly described Pari Banou's brother so she sent him to the Sultan's service. When the man arrived, he slaughtered the Sultan, his advisors and the black magician who uncovered Prince Ahmed's secret, leaving the prince to take the throne of the kingdom.

Scheherazade
King Shahryar was betrayed by his wife and declared that there is no truth in women. He instructed his advisor to find him a new wife everyday who he would marry, spend the night with, and execute the following morning. This continued nightly for years until he was introduced to Scheherazade. On their wedding night, Scheherazade asked the King if she could tell him a story to which he happily agreed. She began with the first tale but stopped short of the ending with the promise of completing it the following night. Intrigued by her storytelling, the King postponed her execution for another day. Scheherazade would repeat this process for 1,001 nights and in the meantime give the King 3 sons and demonstrate her loyalty to him. The King had fallen in love with her and revoked her death sentence. Scheherazade had sacrificed herself for the Kingdom using intellect, and some of the stories she told can be found around you.
